Name: Alistine Dawntracker

Age: 231 (looks closer to 25)

Gender: Female

Race: Elf

Class: Queen of Salgii

Nationality: Salgii

Weapons: A large sword, and a magnificent bow with a quiver full of well-main arrows.

Magic: She is a healer, her talents lie in curing the injuries of the body and mind. She cannot use magic to any other purpose. She can also tell, to an extent, whether or not someone is saying the truth.

Appearance: She has very pale skin, and amazingly bright grey eyes that often serious and thoughtful. She has thick, thick eyelashes that appear to envelop her eyes. Her brown-black hair falls into waves and goes partway down her back. She is striking, but not really very beautiful. Her face looks serious and mature, and always burdened by some cares beyond and above this world. She has a short and thin stature, she being only about 5' 1" or so. She is also unnaturally thin, with erect shoulders that seem to forever bear a burden, and her ears are a little pointy, as a true elf. She wears no jewellery, except a pendant on her neck.

Her grey eyes have a troubled look about them, but her head is always held proudly. However, the best feature of this not so beautiful elf is her beautiful voice. Her voice is like velvet rubbed the right way, a voice that can melt butter. Her voice is almost always motivating, because she manages to gain the confidence of others with that voice. Her voice is perhaps the only reason why her kingdom stays together, but it does, and most of the people are loyal to it. She usually wears beautiful delicate floaty dresses for public appearances, but is decked out in the dress of a knight when on a mission.

Personality: She is intelligent and sweet, even if she does not have a sense of humour at all, and takes everything seriously. She is the perfect confidante, but she finds it hard to confide in another, perhaps the reason why she is so troubled all the time. She is kind and considerate, if somewhat hard to understand herself. Even the slightest thing warrants her concern. She is a perfectionist and a worry wart, but somehow she manages not to demotivate everyone else by showing them her worries or concerns, and perhaps the only way to notice her sadness is to look into those troubled gray eyes, and that in itself is quite a feat.

She has perfect manners, and is always kind and courteous, well versed in the court manners, a follower of peace. She is fairly good at archery, but mediocre at sword fighting. Strategic planning and organization is her forte. Her motto is to be nice to everyone and avoid attack as long as possible, and then if attacked to fight with all one's strength. She will never surrender her land to another, especially not the current rulers that she sees. She will never collaborate with anyone that does not want peace, but is ready to negotiate peace treaties.

History: Salgii castle was ruled for years by the Seibenstrasse, a family of elves, greatly protective of their castle and extremely fair. However, they only allowed men on the crown, and so it continued for many long centuries, each of the elves dying long before there time because of the wars. However, a time came when Lord Thohorn, who had two sons, died. The first died with him, and the second was killed by plotting nobles. There were no more male heirs, but Lord Thohorn had a brother, Lord Tholamin, who had one daughter, Hollystina, who married the dashing King Sretosem Silentread. However, the King proved to be extremely inefficient. Hollystina became Her Majesty Queen Hollystine Silentread, the first female ruler of Salgii. From then on, only females would rule.

The men would go to war, and the females would rule. However, the numbers of the elves were swiftly dwindling. Also, many were dying, especially the males. Hollystina had six children, 5 males and 1 female. Her daughter, Hollyhana, who suceeded her on the throne after the death of her brothers, had 3 children, all girls, 1 of whom was killed in a childhood illness and 1 who died in the war of succession (but not before giving birth to a child, Alithana, with Lord Zangretor Dawntracker) . The one who suceeded Hollyhana was her eldest daughter, Hollyvyra, who had no children and never married and was suceeded by Alithana Dawntracker. Alithana had a son and a daughter before she died, and her son died on the battle field, while her only daughter, Alistine, came on the throne.
